A community event!

I've just (been reminded actually) had a brilliant idea! This idea involves you, the reader (that alone makes it brilliant). Basically what I'm going to do it give you 8 random
Gullible Info facts and you have to tie at least 5 of them together in anyway you choose, be it a story, a news article, a rant, or even a picture side show or something. Then you'll
email what you made to me and I'll post the best ones over a week or so!
So, here are the 8 random facts!
A pine cone falls to the ground somewhere in the world every 0.24 seconds.
Six states prohibit licensed department store Santas from touching children.
Washing machines account for 36 percent of household water use.
Fingerprints are known to change slowly over time. After 15 years an individual's fingerprints will only retain 80 percent of their earlier characteristics.
A New York State driver's license is composed of six different synthetic polymers and was rated the most difficult license in the U.S. to forge.
Errant champagne corks kill more than two dozen people every year. One third of fatal champagne accidents occur at weddings.
The average American house contains eight depictions of the American flag.
Statistically speaking, snow sports are eight times more deadly than water sports.
Remember, you have to use at least 5 but you can use all 8 if you want! ^_^
I'll give you all a week or two before i start posting submitions.

Ok, so I was looking for a link to Spybot (Spyware removeal program) for a friend and on the spybot website I found this:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/news/2006-03-10.htmlIn short it's about a fellow named Patrck (not me) who got some spam from Sony and dispite requesting his email to be removed from their lists and getting confirmation of the fact, he still got spam.
It's worth a look and it certainly shows off how much Sony cares for it's customers. Sheesh.

Zelda: Twilight Princes
|
|
In a recent article posted on IGN sometime in the past 12 or so hours Nintendo of Europe has just announce something I'm positive many Zelda fans will be uberly excited about, to the point of exploding.
The Breaking NewsFor those of you who have dial up or don't want to read the three paragraph (shame on you) article it basically states that Nintendo is indeed adding Revolution Support to "The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess" a.k.a. you'll beable to play the game via the more traditional two-hand controller or via, what would be assumed, the Revmote: Nunchaku.

Anyway, Happy Pi Day to ye all! Go buy yourself a circle! of Pie!

New Nintendo News!
|
|
I have two (three) links for you today, one is an editorial thingy on the Revolution by Matt Casamassina (<3) which I believe is one of the best articles he's writen. It certainly proves why IGN hired him.
http://revolution.ign.com/articles/694/694524p1.htmlI have to say, Matt is a very objective writer, or at least as objective as you can be while being Chief Editor for IGN Revolution. He does a good job with keeping things on a fair playing feild, not just bragging on Revolution and Nintendo and dissing the other two consoles. It's quite refreshing actually. He also has some great podcasts.
A podcast!----
As for that second link it's very, extremely actually, exciting news! If you've heard of the devlopment company
Nibris I'd be amazed. For everyone who hasn't: they're a small, Polish based, company that's working on two/three games. One for the Nintendo DS (a vertical shooter) and one for Revolution (a Gothic style, Survivor, Horror game) with a possible Revolution version of the DS game.
Look! More, exciting, info!

Dry Times
|
|
It's kinda frustrating being able to see that there are people from all over the world looking at my blog and yet there's really nothing for them to read. At least not lately anyway.
So yeah, I know this is a little old news but Metriod Prime: Hunters is going to have VoIP capabilities. This translates into being able to speak to your fellow players before and after matches by simply holding X, as well if you feel that someone is being rude you can turn of the Voice Chat and use an on screen keyboard, much like PictoChat. So that's pretty awesome.
Hm, what else? Well Andrew got a sweet new CD, Newsong: Rescue, and I have to say, it's a really great Live Worship album so anyone that's looking for that, or even just a new CD, that's a great choice.
Oh, and I think it was the 6th of this month, Gravity released two new Ragnarok Online classes, Gunslinger (sorta like a customisable Sniper) and Ninja (a few different classes, monk and sin most notably, combined). So CaliRO will be getting those as soon as the eA dev team adds them to the Stable SVN.
Besides that nothign really interesting happening. I have been having mixxed feelings about going to public school next year so your prayers that God would make things clear about that and any advice is greatly appreciated.
With that I leave you till next time I actually get around to make a post.
Chao!
