Image Shack Ad!

Just today I was able to get two things that make Image Shack one of the best free image hosts out there today.

First,
I was able to get their "Quick Load" program to work. It allows you to upload files directly from Explorer (you know the one that lets you look at all your files ^^) to your account on Image Shack just by right clicking! I don't know why it didn't work, but it didn't, anyway! That's going to be useful since whenever I make a siggy/avatar for someone I generaly make more than one to choose from and it gets annoying having to go to the site then upload one at a time. Quick Load allows you to upload as many as you want all at once! ^^

Second,
I found "Quick Shot" which lets you take a screen shot and upload it in two key strokes. Though I probably won't need to upload screen shots very often it's much much faster than pressing "Prt Scrn", opening an image editor, pasting the screen shot, then saving it. This does it all at once and has a "Gaming Mode" which I'm guessing makes it so you don't have hundreds of screen shots if you're playing a game ^^

Though I did find one thing I wanted but could have and that was a fire fox extention. (>_> Don't even start.) But that's not really a problem since I have the Quick Load. AND! I'm going to add an upload form to my Nav Bar! Be happy! I said BE HAPPY! *gr*

Ok, that's all I can think to post. Just Remember I'm your #1 source for any information on the Revolution! Ok, not #1 but I'll keep you updated at the very least ;)

Fun times.

Well I had a good time tonight, I went to a meeting at my church for the new sunday school (Adventure Mountain) curiculum we're going to be using (FLiPT (I think)) and we got Pizza and hung out most of the time. Then after that we went over to out Youth Pastor's appartment and watched.... uh.... some funny moive where you're watching some guy and his robots making fun of some cheesy moive. I'm sure Brian will be able to remember, but it's..... almost 1 in the morning here and I don't have a good memory normaly. ^^;

Anyway, I wouldn't have been able to see the moive if it hadn't been for Brian and the fact he was able to give me a ride. Of course we have to thank whom ever said he could too. So yeah, if Brian liked being hugged I'd hug him for the rides he's given me, but he doesn't, so.... I'll whip up a big thank you in Photoshop sometime, like tomorrow.

-----------------------

On a second note, Flash Flash Revolution is really fun. Even more so that they got a real time multiplayer ^^ and it's all free, you just need to sign up!

-----------------------

On a third note, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has been delayed till next year.

But to all those people that don't have the money to buy Revolution when it's released:
"In effect, because of the backward compatibility built into Revolution, every GameCube game also will be a Revolution title," she said. "But we feel a commitment to the GameCube owners who've been patiently awaiting this new Zelda title, and don't want to force them to wait and buy a brand new system in order to play the game."

Makes me love Nintendo all the more. And furthermore:
"The philosophy of 'quality-first' still lives within Nintendo and it's something we won't compromise on. When Zelda game arrives, we hope to hear that players are thrilled with it and believe the wait was worth it. We think it will be."

I personaly think that if Nintendo believe's it'll be worth the wait then it must be. They've never let us down before have they? And if you have an example, shove it. Just Kidding, lol. ^^;

-----------------------

Anyway, on a final note....
Revolution Teasing. This (took me a while to find again) is very interesting because at the end Bernd Fakesch said:
"The only thing I can tell you is that very soon there will be important news about Revolution."

This means of course that if that holds true I'll be flaming you with totaly excited, and maybe even some over-rated, news about Revolution.

One thing I don't like and really love though is this comment.
"Ending the Revolution topics he finished by saying, "We're all wondering what the Revolution controller will look like, but I think right now we should focus on discussing our current products.""

Though they are shying away from telling us more about Revolution it's good that they're not only focusing on the future but also the present which I thnik is a good thing, they're not going to neglect what we have now and super-hype-up what we can't have. I think that's a smart move on their part.

-----------------------

And with that I'm going to go to bed and get some sleep to do math! Woohoo! This is by far the longest post I've writen in a long while and I hope I didn't lose you half way through. If I did, well.... I'll blame it on the time! Maybe sometime I'll write that review of Princess Mononoke and make Brian's thank you picture. Until then, Farewell and Good Night, Morning even!

"I hope I didn't lose you half way through."

Unfortunately, you did! Just joking ... your posts are always provocative and enjoyable. You ought to sleep earlier -- you might collapse somewhere if you don't.

Princess Mononoke

Three words. Worth every penny.

That is now my favorite movie.... It really needs to be watched in Japanese with Sub titles, but I'm sure the english voice actors did a fair job too, not quite as good with emotion though, from what I saw anyway.

The nice thing is I can legaly get a subbed version online, since I really like fansubs better than the kind that comes with the movie, the fans just put more work into them I think. Though the ones on the DVD weren't bad at all, just kinda dull.

Anyway, I also want one of the little white forest spirit things. I hear they sell them as keychains ^^

I should write a full lenght review and give it a 10/10 and not just because I like Hayao Miyazaki either.

I found Lily's twin!

http://alatus.blogspot.com/

I'm just going through the people who have "The Pit Dragon Trilogy" as one of their favorite books and I see someone with "L-chan" as their name, and seeing as we call Lily, Lily-chan sometime I clicked on it. It's weird though, because Lily herself says the profile sounds like her, and the person (Lisa, I believe) posted about 3 people she knows (names not the actually people), and she lives in Canada.

So it's really weird. There, I felt like sharing, have fun!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Yeah, uh.... I feel like making a birthday post for myself. Why? Because I can.

"This was an e-mail... but since I usually don't forward things......

1. I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you..

2. No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry.

3. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

4. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart.

5. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can't have them.

6. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.

7. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.

8. Don't waste your time on a man/woman, who isn't willing to waste their time on you.

9. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.

10. Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.

11. There's always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting and just be more careful about who you trust next time around.

12. Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try and know someone else and expect them to know you.

13. Don't try so hard, the best things come when you! least expect them to.

REMEMBER: WHATEVER HAPPENS, HAPPENS FOR A REASON.
True friends: How many people actually have 8 true friends?
How many people need 8 true friends?"

~ Celia

I liked that and found it again on Celia Xanga so I decided to post it again!

WARNING: Serrated blades can be dangerous.

Ok, so I mentioned them in my last post, now for the follow up. I wanted to keep the other post on top longer, but.... I'll just tell you to go look at it in this one and that'll work well enough!

So anyway, about the warning, I was trying to make a throwing star out of a CD (I don't remember what site I got the idea from) and each time I had used sissors the CD would always shatter at some point in the process (I think it's just that AOL CDs suck) and so this time I thought I'd try my serrated Swiss Army Knife since it's really sharp. At first I tried to saw into the CD along the lines I had made but that didn't work so I was scoring a section to cut out and, me being the smart person I am, was scoring towards my leg, on my leg (by the groin even), and I went too far and made a cut in my pants. I was really amazed at how clean a cut it made with such little effort, lol.

So remember, don't work with knives on your legs, esspecialy near your groin, and if you do keep some duct tape around ^^ if you happen to find denum colored duct tape use that. I had to stick with camo, but it's all good.

Manila Envelopes are cool!

So are serrated blades, but we'll talk about that later.

Ok so about the Manila Envelopes, I got one in the mail today.
*flash back*

One happy day in August Patrick was walking outside. He was going to check the mail because it was almost his birthday. He was thinking about all the fun he was going to have with his friends. Esspecialy his girlfriend Lily (I'm just going with the plot....). But Patrick want's paying attention to where he was going and tripped over a box. Patrick went flying and landed on his bum. But it wasn't an ordinary box, it was a mail box for Patrick! Whatever could be inside? Maybe it was a free Revolution, or a dolly, or a brick, or maybe a Walrus with a top-hat (I'm sure you all know now.) but no it's something better than all of those things combined! It's a Manila Envelope! Manila Envelopes are Patrick's favorite mailing device in the whole wide universe! Why he sends Revolutions to people with a glass of orange juice evryday! If he was stranded on a destert island with only one source of mail it would be a Manila Envelope!

One time he had a dream where it rained Manila Envelopes, the grass was blue, and Hamburgers ate people! Yes it was true! Patrick's favorite mailing device beyond a shadow of a doubt are Manila Envelopes! Lily must have sent the Manila Envelope for Patrick because she loves him. But while Patrick was day dreaming a frog came by and ate the Manila Envelope via osmosis. Patrick was quite upset but he politly axed the frog why he ate his birthday Manila Envelope. Then he explained to the frog that Manila Envelopes were his favorite mailing device and he was really looking forward to opening it but the frog wouldn't listen to Patrick all he wanted to do was hop away!

After Patrick got tired the frog stopped by the mailbox and look what he found! There was another Manila Envelope in the mailbox! The frog explained to Patrick that he didn't have breakfast and he was very very hungry and appologized for eating the Manila Envelope. Patrick felt very sorry for the frog and accepted his appology. He invited the frog to his birthday party.

So they both went to the birthday party and played Game Cube! (Patrick's Birthday party was sponsored by Nintendo of America) The. End.

Inspiration.

By the way, that was a very long way of saying Lily sent me a Manila Envelope with my birthday present in it. Which was an awesome picture of a guy (or maybe a girl) pushing clouds out from in front of the sun saying "Outta the way, Clouds! It's Patrick's Birthday!" So yeah, I also wanted to talk about Manila Envelopes so two birds with one stone! (that's really hard to do.)

Busyness

I haven't posted in a long while, though that's mostly since I've had to be doing a ton of math, and math takes a long time. I've also been doing other random things I forget and I was at a friends house for 3 days since my other friend flew out from Florida and so we were hanging out over there while my mom was in Seattle. So yeah, I've also been pretty lazy in part because I've been tired, so that's another reason why there havn't been many posts.

Sad News, that's a bit old.

I don't know how many of you know that sometime this weekend I believe the ABC Primetime news anchor Peter Jennings died of lung cancer. I know some people may not have heard and I wanted to make sure everyone knew. I really liked him too....

2 Comments:

i heard about that. and when i saw it i thought, "how could he die? PETER JENNINGS IS FOREVER!!!!". cause, news anchors aren't allowed to die.

I always wished that Peter Jennings would come back -- he was the best television news anchor anywhere. Let him rest in peace.
